For Beaver Scouts the emphasis in the early years of the Scout programme is on fun and friendship with a mix of indoor and outdoor activities. Beaver Scouts have the opportunity to try a wide range of activities such as going on outings with other Beavers from the local Colonies, participating in the 4th Potters Bar Scout Group Camp and taking part in fundraising for national and local charities.

 

Beavers are keen to earn badges through their activities and the two-year programme normally leads to the award of the Chief Scouts Bronze Award. At the end of this time they are ready to move on to Cubs for the next exciting stage of their Scouting adventure.

There are only two intakes into the Colony in April and October.
