Overview
Worship at St John's every Sunday 10:30 am
St John's is a varied community and our worship reflects this. Each month we share in a mixture of modern and traditional singing, with the worship band and organ, input from a range of preachers, and multiple approaches to prayer, story, drama, and bible reading. It's a great opportunity to relate contemporary issues and our own experiences to the Christian faith.
Every Sunday morning includes time for all ages to worship together, and often special activities are provided for 3 to 14 year-olds in our Junior Johns, whilst the youngest children may visit the supervised creche in a dedicated space at the back of the church. The worship usually lasts about an hour, and Holy Communion is included once a month. Refreshments are served afterwards in the Clifton coffee lounge (which has a toy corner), and also in the supervised Garden Room where ages 4 to 13 may choose to relax together until 12:15 pm.
Most months we also hold Creative Church with optional worshipful activities including arts and crafts.
